Visonary campaign summary

The Trell (Keiths) campaign in brief summaries for the slackers who missed the action packed fun filled adventures of the visionaries

We begin with the party (in an order of experience points worth):

-Sherman: the muscle& ride for the party, saved the party already too many times to count (DM)

-Schtook: a hissing freak but with all those heads it is no wonder he sees things. (Dave)

-ElfBoy(Shoemaker): A archer who has just found faith (Paul)

-Shale: Hed be worth more with spikes, or if he could share his enlightenment. (Mark)

-Rocky: Well he is controlling Sherman, so he deserves some credit. (Rob)

-Har-Leigh: A Quarterling who can keep her shape. (Jim)

-Tirac a elf who has yet to prove himself (Dino)

-Gromit the first giant the party has accepted, his need to burn may char the party (Tom)

 

1. In the beginning their was no piece (2/28/97)

Usil, a chimera charmed the party into entering the valley of fire for him and entering some ruins to retrieve a black orb. The party had some traveling help from some giants. They broke a hole in the roof of a tower buried under the sand. The party ran into a few Gyth, killed them, and found the orb, then left.

2. Shermans load (4/18/97)

Usil provided the party with a gift for services rendered by turning Rockys erdling into a Giant Kank (Sherman). The party decided to follow Schtooks visions to the north. They ran into some Formarian giants, found some caves of Xerxes worshippers (serpentmen), almost died a few times and emptied out the complex.

3. Tarot anyone? (4/25/97)

EB(Shoemaker) wanted to empty out ALL of the serpentmens lair, Shale wanted to move on and Schtook found a compromise through a vision. His vision allowed him to pick the ONE, most fortuitous cave of lizardmen to hit, the party (err I mean Sherman) met and KILLED their first Trell worm (a small one) on the way. After a brief fight the party quickly made it through the catacombs to a prison within the structure and released a sage of sorts, Hadji repaid the kindness with an offer of tarot cards for anyone who desired one. The party, now MUCH altered decided to follow the now zealot Schtook toward the futuristic? Mysterious? Black Sphere

4. One small step to the black sphere of destruction (4/26/97)

The Party finally think they have a mission. On the way to their goal they get attacked by a group of Gyth, with two nasty monsters in tow, a lioness type beast and a undead of veracious attacking frenzy. The party JUST survived, with help from Rocky and Har-Leigh ALMOST considered coming out of a trance but did not.

5. Civilization? (5/ 3 /97)

The party arrived at a small village in much need of rest and recuperation

Shale and Har-Leigh decide to wander around the area in search of danger and find some. EB and Rocky visit a Creator temple. Schtook bought a hat.

 

6. To attain more than a Droplet (7/ 2 /97)

The party begins still in the village created by greater air elemental Asad. They have an opportunity to resupply their packs just before the village is folded up into a briefcase and Asad tornadoes off. They party decides to go straight through the Valley of Fire a suicidal thought a few short levels ago. They run across a giant skeleton who has a puddle of water in a ridge with the image of Usil in it again charming a majority of the party into doing some act for him this time he asks them to retrieve the two fangs of this great beast they are camping on (a Dragonking) They soon realize the fangs keep all of the wandering monsters clear of their paths, they refuse to do the second request of Usil defiling a Calador temple, by flooding it. They do arrive at the third site after the second act requested is somehow accomplished (according to Usil?) They arrive at the tower not attacked for weeks, in the most deadly part of Trell. They find the undead caretaker under a stair well on the outside of a lighthouse. He seems to be a nemesis of Usil so the party gives the fangs and the drop of Usils blood to him. The party considers waiting for Usil since they think he will eventually show up at this tower

7. The party defeats Usil (apparently)

9. Schtook reads a scroll that unleashes waves of running water throughout Trell
